Join us for a 1.5-2 hour Handbuilding Workshop Handbuilding is one of the oldest ceramic techniques and offers a wide range of creative possibilities. This workshop is open for adults, families, and children and is suitable for anyone who would like to spend a relaxed weekend working with clay and creating handmade ceramic pieces. During the workshop, participants will learn basic handbuilding techniques and create their own ceramic objects for everyday use or decoration. There will also be an opportunity to decorate the pieces with underglaze colors, drawing simple patterns or images on the ceramic surface. No previous experience is required. What You’ll Learn * Basic techniques: coiling, pinching, slab construction * How to securely join clay elements and refine surfaces * Decorating ceramics using underglaze paints * Preparing your work for drying, firing, and glazing You’ll create your own set of ceramic items — practical or decorative — and we’ll handle the firing and glazing process for you.
