Join us for a 2-hour Handbuilding Workshop on April 26th at 12:00 Handbuilding is one of the oldest ceramic techniques. It offers a wide range of creative possibilities and ways to express ideas — perfect for both complete beginners and experienced ceramic artists. Under the clear guidance of ceramic artist Viktoriia Kurganskaia, you will create your own unique handmade pieces. What You’ll Learn - Introduction to handbuilding and its role in ceramic history - Basic techniques: coiling, pinching, slab construction - How to join clay elements securely and refine the surface - Preparing your work for drying and firing - Choosing the glazes for your finished pieces You’ll create your own set of ceramic items — practical or decorative — and we’ll handle the firing and glazing process for you.
