“FRAGILE MATTER“ ART PROJECT

A series of ceramic vessels made using wild materials.

In this project , I wanted to plunge into the properties of the material, to show the transitional stage between the initial object and its transformation into a product.
These vases shows my research of local clays and wild materials, their transformation from raw state to finished art object.

At the early stages of human history, different archaeological cultures coexisted, each leaving behind a unique ceramic legacy. Drawing inspiration from these archaic forms, I created works from locally sourced wild materials. My central idea is the transformation of matter — altering, combining, and reimagining it in new forms.

In 2022, my research project “FRAGILE MATTER” received the Young Masters Prize in London and was presented at the accompanying exhibition.
